Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare Virtual Clinic provides 1:1 telehealth nutrition and lifestyle care for women from pre-conception through menopause, delivered by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.

We are hiring part-time RDNs to support 1:1 sessions, documentation, and care coordination. Candidates should hold an active RDN credential and be licensed in at least one state; experience with fertility nutrition and telehealth is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
• Current RDN credential required.
• Active state licensure in at least one of the states: NC, FL, TX, NY.
• Minimum of two years of nutrition coaching/counseling experience.
• Experience with telehealth and EMR systems (Athena ideal).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of 1:1 digital health service with customized patient plans and supportive accountability.
• Patient-related documentation and care coordination responsibilities
• Attend team meetings, CEU opportunities, and training sessions
• Potential for weekend and evening hours to meet patient needs

Unified Women's Healthcare's Virtual Clinic offers nutrition and lifestyle care to women from reproduction to menopause.

Unified Women’s Healthcare (UWH) Virtual Clinic is a health provider that specializes in menopause and sexual health, nutrition and lifestyle, and weight management for women. In collaboration with OB/GYN physicians Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) play an integral role in supporting women’s health across the lifespan accounting for the natural hormone changes and subsequent impact on metabolic health and risk of chronic disease. In this role you will provide women with the best healthcare in the world through virtual nutrition and lifestyle services to address fertility relational nutrition (pre-conception care, IVF/IUI support and related reproductive health conditions), hormone and health concerns including weight (with and without weight loss medications), PCOS, fertility, pre-diabetes, cardiometabolic health, peri and post menopause. This takes an individual who is self-motivated, enthusiastic about clinical care, and ready to join a team of RDNs committed to improving women’s health. Services are provided through 1:1 telehealth sessions and chat/SMS service.

• Delivery of 1:1 digital health service with customized patient plans and supportive accountability based on a patient’s personal goals, medical intake, clinical assessment, and prior encounters with other medical providers and clinicians.
• Patient-related documentation and care coordination responsibilities
• Attend team meetings, CEU opportunities, and training sessions
• Potential for weekend and evening hours to meet patient needs

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in a health-related field

• Current RDN credential required
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist preferred
• Active state licensure in at least one of the following states: NC, FL, TX, NY
• Minimum of two years of nutritioncoaching/counseling experience
• Proven experience inmotivational interviewing and behaviorchangeskills
• Experience with fertility relational nutrition (pre-conception care, IVF/IUI support and related reproductive health conditions preferred
• Professional experience supporting female hormone transitions across the lifespan and addressing concerns including weight (with and without weight loss medications), PMOS, peri and post menopause, pre-diabetes, and cardiometabolic health
• Proven experienceusing technology in a telehealth environment, includingutilizationof an EMR (Athena ideal), Microsoft365andremote basedcommunication systems (i.e.Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Meetings)
• Proven experience workingindependently, efficiently,andcollaboratively ina remote team environmentthat spans clinicians, dietitians, clinicaloperations,and technology experts.
• Proven agilityto thrive in a culture of learning,change,anduncharted opportunities to advance women’s health.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Experienceand comfortworking in adynamic,fast-pacedenvironment.

Requirements

• Commitment 90-120 days prior to official start day to allow for insurance credentialing
• Participation in two-week training provided as part of onboarding
• Use HIPPA compliant EMR to deliver care and produce documentation post appointment including key topics discussed, supportive and actionable strategies, and relevant educational resources
• Refer, as necessary, to other clinicians when warranted.
• Collaborate clinically with interdisciplinary health team including, but not limited to, other dietitians, medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, and patient care team around patient goals and relevant medical history
• Maintain RDN state license as required
• Maintain consistent and reliable internet and Wi‑Fi access through a private, quiet, and connected workspace.
