Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Dietitian to partner with patients to achieve their health goals and lead healthier lives. In this role, you will develop trusting relationships, assess health concerns and dietary needs, and create individualized nutrition plans. You will also collaborate with our culinary team on menus and may participate in community demonstrations and seminars to promote healthy eating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutrition assessments to understand patients’ health goals, dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans aligned with patient goals and clinical needs
  • Collaborate with the chef to design therapeutic and wellness-focused menus for patients and cafeteria visitors
  • Track and compile patient progress toward health goals; enter and maintain accurate patient information in our database
  • Stay current with the latest evidence and discoveries in nutrition science and practice
  • Deliver group education, demonstrations, and seminars to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health, or a related field
  • Active state licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist (as required by Illinois)
  • Registration/Certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or community dietetics (a satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience will be considered)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication, active listening, problem-solving, and public speaking abilities
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in nutrition
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine interest in helping others improve their eating habits
