Job summary

New Solutions is seeking a Registered Dietitian in Ohio to provide nutrition counseling, assess patient needs, and create individualized care plans. The role requires clinical experience, knowledge of food safety, and strong communication skills.

You will document high-risk patients' nutritional needs, participate in care conferences, and adhere to HIPAA while delivering education and programs across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio with RD credential.
• Prior clinical experience required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to accurately take and record measurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling and develop care plans for a diverse population.
• Assess nutrition needs and create nutrition plans of care.
• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
• Provide diet and food-drug interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences to address patient nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients in a timely manner.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality, including HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g. TB testing, safety, HIPAA).
