Job Summary and Qualifications

The TriStar Division Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian 2 will be an experienced dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher and certification in a nutrition specialty. Responsibilities include assessing, implementing interventions, and educating patients through the Nutrition Care Process, providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of patient safety principles, standards, and regulatory requirements, with experience in safety analysis techniques such as root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis.
  • Knowledge of HACCP guidelines for food safety and quality.
  • Ability to use database software for data entry, retrieval, and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian Certification (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
  • Licensed Dietitian within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including orthopedics, robotic surgery, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a 24/7 Emergency Department recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
