Aramark Student Nutrition is seeking a Registered Dietitian I to develop nutritionally sound, cost-efficient school meal programs compliant with local guidelines. You will apply government nutrition standards, support menu implementation, and work with teams to promote healthy choices for students.

The role involves on-site visits to school cafes, training new staff, and ensuring quality food service delivery while adhering to Aramark guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution with approved coursework.
• Ability to maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements.
• Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in the applicable geographic location.

Job Description

Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after‑school snacks, catering, nutrition education and retail operations. The Registered Dietitian I helps to provide a nutritionally sound and cost‑efficient food services program that will meet the needs of students while maintaining compliance with all local guidelines as they relate to nutrition regulations. Utilizes technical training and government‑mandated nutritional standards on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. May work closely with Food & Beverage Development and management teams.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous relevant working experience preferred
• Requires a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution with course work accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies
• Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies
• Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in geographic location where applicable
• Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
• Ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic and inspire others
