Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the HomeCare team in Florida. The role focuses on delivering medical nutrition therapy, conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, and counseling patients in their homes as they transition from hospital to home care, within a non-patient-facing capacity.

Qualified candidates must be RD-eligible or licensed in Florida, with opportunity for sign-on bonus and career advancement across inpatient/outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition / Related Field is required.
• Master's degree in Food & Nutrition / Related Field preferred; effective Jan 1, 2024, graduate degree required for those not credentialed by 12/31/23.
• Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or attainment of state licensure within 12 months of employment.
• Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group preferred.

• Provide optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals or groups through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention.
• Define nutritional status, make recommendations and implement nutrition interventions.

Our team supports patients where they feel safest and most comfortable — in their homes. This role supports patients transitioning from hospital to home care in a non–patient-facing role. BayCare, a leading healthcare provider in Central Florida region is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Required:Bachelors - Food & Nutrition / Related Field
• Preferred:Masters - Food & Nutrition / Related Field (Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23)
