Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• RD/RDN credential and state licensure eligibility
• Strong communication and counseling skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and regulatory documentation practices

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide evidence‑based nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate nutrition into treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed.
• Support dietary staff with menu planning and regulatory compliance.
• Lead or participate in wellness education and in‑service training.
• Utilize documentation systems to support care.
• Stay informed on current nutrition research and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
