Registered Dietitian - Flexible Part Time 8hr per week (Valley View Care Center)

This position is responsible for assessing, developing, and directing the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest. An important aspect of this role involves collaborating with and encouraging guests and families to participate in care plan development. Additionally, the Registered Dietitian continually studies emerging trends, stays current on new research related to dietetics, and educates culinary staff on topics related to human nutrition and culinary service.

We can work with your current schedule:

Qualifications needed to join our EPIC team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics)
• Current registration status in Michigan
• Knowledge and skills to provide nutrition services suitable for residents' age-related needs
• Understanding of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
