Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current registration and up-to-date continuing education credits in Maryland

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nutritional assessments upon admission
• Counsels patients on balanced nutrition in individual and group sessions
• Prepares individualized meal plans considering medical, nutritional, age, culture and ethics
• Provides weekly nutrition counseling for patients and families as needed
• Leads nutrition education groups for adults and adolescents
• Monitors patient nutrition status and reports updates to the care team
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and participates in staff trainings
