Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Executive Director and the Associate/Assistant Director, the Registered Dietitian Consultant is responsible for patient care in nutrition assessment/counseling of clients, coordinating Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) workshops, and supervising students in the Dietetic Internship program as they provide nutritional counseling and implement wellness clinic programs and workshops.QualificationsRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist required. Master’s degree in Nutrition or Public Health (or equivalent work experience) strongly preferred. Between 1-2 years minimum experience in clinical setting and patient care with nutrition assessment and counseling of clients strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and online assessment and documentation. Some project coordination and implementation of patient care and group education within diverse communities and clients preferred.Knowledge, Specialized Skills, And AbilitiesWorking knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty.
