RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to promote healing through evidence-based nutrition care. The role emphasizes clinical assessments, personalized care plans, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include education and mentoring of Dietetic Students, and guiding staff in nutrition therapy across diverse patient populations at RWJ Hamilton and related sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition required.
• 3 years nutrition experience preferred, with emphasis on weight management and counseling.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Serve Safe Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process across patient populations.
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop customized care plans.
• Identify clinical risk factors and develop targeted diagnoses and interventions.
• Document assessment data and progress in the EMR.
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients and families, considering cultural factors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor Dietetic Students.
