Bingham Memorial is expanding and seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our patient-centered team. This RD/RDN will provide individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, and education across all ages and support the Bariatric Program through coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Current RD/RDN credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Current Idaho licensure through the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with bariatric program coordination, other specialty referrals, hospital in-patient planning, educational group classes, and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Facilitate open, honest, and effective communication between patients and care teams.
  • Support program policies, procedures, and continuous improvement efforts.

Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian provides individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, and education to patients of all ages. This position also supports the Bariatric Program through patient tracking, coordination activities, policy implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote successful patient outcomes.

Required Education
