Job summary

Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center in Michigan is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess, develop, and direct the nutrition plan of care for residents. You will collaborate with guests and families to tailor care plans and educate kitchen staff on nutrition.

This is a full-time role with negotiable wages, yearly wage increases, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, 401k, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Current registration status in Michigan as a Registered Dietitian.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and resident nutrition needs.
• Eligible to work in healthcare per Michigan laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, and direct nutrition plans of care for residents.

This position is responsible for assessing, developing, and directing the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest. An important aspect of this position is collaborating with and encouraging guests and families to participate in the development of care plans. Additionally, the Registered Dietitian continually studies emerging trends and stays current on new research related to the practice of dietetics, and educates the culinary staff on pertinent topics related to human nutrition and culinary service.

What you will need to be a part ofour EPIC team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics).
• Current registration status in Michigan. (Must be Registered Dietitian)
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents.
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures as well the laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities.
• Must be eligible to work in healthcare as part of the State of Michigan Background Check Requiredprocess.
