Job summary

Avante Care Management is seeking a Registered Dietitian with long-term care experience preferred. The role is part-time, 2-3 days per week, and involves collecting information for nutritional care planning and assessment. You will interview all new admissions and residents referred by other disciplines as appropriate.

The position requires a BS in Dietetic/Food Management, RD credential, and ADA membership, with strong English communication and confidentiality in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a 4-year college with BS degree in Dietetic and/or Food Management.
• Must be registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration and membership in ADA.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin test.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
