Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Rochester, MI is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an immediate full-time position. Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Salary: $70,000–$75,000. RD credentials required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

The role includes creating and managing special diet menus for students, ensuring compliance with standards via internal software, and collaborating with the nutrition team to support operations and program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian credentials required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Food Handlers Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions.
• Ensure menus meet compliance standards using internal menu software.
• Collaborate with the child nutrition team to support food service operations.
• Train staff on food allergy procedures and program compliance.
• Lead student nutrition education initiatives.
