Job summary

Hospital Housekeeping Systems, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the dietary team at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. You will guide patients, families, and staff on medical nutrition therapy to support healing and nutrition goals.

Starting salary is $75,000 with a $5,000 RD sign-on bonus, plus benefits including paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, and ongoing training. RD credentials and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field
• Knowledge of regulatory standards
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments for all residents to create care plans with nutritional goals
• Provide education to patients/residents, families, nursing, dietary service, and other community staff on issues regarding special diets and patient/resident dining needs
• Document assessment of patients/residents with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Review and approve patients’/residents' daily menu, snack, and supplement programs
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’/ residents’ nutritional status
• Attend resident rounds and nutrition meetings, and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance

Guide patients/residents, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment. Build relationships with physicians and nurses to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care that meets each patient’s nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

Registered Dietitian at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA

Starting salary $75,000 (Negotiable based on experience) + $5,000 RD sign-on bonus

Extra benefits include paid CDR fees and up to 18 free CEUs per year!

• Complete nutritional assessments for all residents to create care plans with nutritional goals

Requirements
