Job summary

Maple Crest Health Center, part of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, in Omaha, NE, seeks a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Consultant for a part-time role (Mon–Fri, no weekends or remote work) with a starting pay of $27.00/hr plus experience credit.

You will assess residents’ nutritional status, develop and adjust care plans, ensure adherence to physician orders and dietary guidelines, manage therapeutic diets, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize resident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
• Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
• State certification/licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and dietary needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders and dietary guidelines.
• Manage therapeutic diets and necessary modifications.
• Evaluate potential food and medication interactions.
• Document nutritional assessments, progress notes, and care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support resident outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
