Job summary

Ohio Ag Connection in Ohio is seeking a registered dietitian licensed in Ohio with significant clinical experience to join our healthcare team. The role involves leading nutrition counseling, developing individualized care plans, and supporting patient education.

You will evaluate dietary needs, conduct screenings, provide diet guidelines, participate in care conferences, maintain confidential records, and comply with safety and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian licensed in Ohio with significant clinical experience.
• Expertise in food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
• Proven track record in delivering nutritional therapy education and counseling.
• Strong communication skills for conveying detailed information clearly to a diverse audience.
• Proficient in taking and recording accurate measurements and readings.

Responsibilities

• Lead nutrition counseling sessions and develop individualized nutritional care plans.
• Evaluate dietary needs and construct care strategies for patients.
• Conduct screenings to assess nutritional risks.
• Provide guidelines for diet and manage food-drug interaction information.
• Participate actively in Care Conferences to discuss patient nutritional requirements.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation for high-risk patients, including on weekends and holidays.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Engage in mandatory organizational training and meetings including safety and compliance.
