GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a *Registered Dietitian* to serve as a *Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator*. This role supports regulatory oversight by conducting surveys and investigations to ensure nutritional care compliance in long-term care facilities across New York.

*Qualifications*
* Active *New York State license* as a Registered Dietitian
* Minimum *2 years of clinical experience* in a medical or long-term care setting
* Experience in *nursing home surveillance or compliance review* preferred
* Strong knowledge of *state and federal dietary regulations*
* SMQT Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months
* Must have a *valid driver’s license* and ability to travel regularly

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct surveys and complaint investigations at nursing homes related to dietary services
* Assess facility compliance with nutrition-related Federal and State regulations
* Draft clear and concise Statements of Deficiencies (SOD) using Principles of Documentation
* Review and evaluate Plans of Correction for regulatory compliance
* Input data into required federal and state systems
* Participate in Immediate Jeopardy monitoring situations
* Attend hearings and testify if needed
* Follow Department of Health (DOH) policies, schedules, and protocols
* Travel to on-site locations throughout New York as assigned
