Registered Dietitian - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator - New Rochelle, NY (#25144)

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator for a position in New Rochelle, NY.

Minimum Qualifications
  • NY State Registered Dietitian license
  • Graduate of a registered professional dietician program
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home
  • Experience in nursing home surveillance activities (preferred)
  • SMQT Certification (preferred), with ability to obtain within 12 months of employment

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in surveys and complaint investigations, including allegations of abuse and neglect, and perform surveillance activities at nursing homes to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  2. Prepare written documentation and draft a Statement of Deficiencies (SOD) within the required timeframe, using Principles of Documentation.
  3. Assess compliance with the Plan of Correction within the specified period.
  4. Enter data into Federal and State reporting databases as required.
  5. Participate in State monitoring during Immediate Jeopardy situations.
  6. Attend meetings as required.
  7. Testify in administrative hearings when needed.
  8. Follow DOH work schedules and policies.
  9. Travel to onsite locations as scheduled.
