Job summary

Harbour View Senior Living Community in New Jersey seeks a qualified Dietitian to plan and oversee the Dietary Department in collaboration with the Food Service Director, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, have at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related medical setting, and be trained in cost control, food management, and diet therapy to maintain safe, nutritious service

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and develop the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assure the quality nutritional service is provided daily and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Collaborate with the Administrator to ensure the department runs efficiently and in compliance.

POSITION SUMMARY;

The primary purpose of your job position in conjunction with Food Service Director is to plan, organize and develop the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure the quality nutritional service are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
