Cura-Hospitality in Leesport, Pennsylvania, is hiring a Registered Dietitian to join its healthcare team. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain or improve status, and support quality of life in line with patient goals.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position onsite. You must have passed the national CDR exam or meet Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility, complete 75 CE hours every five years, and hold state licensure.

Qualifications

• Pass national examination (CDR) or eligibility per academy standards.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining services and nutrition.
• Lead QA and continuous quality improvement initiatives in nutrition programs.
• Support dining services in nutrition-focused policy development and problem solving.
