Job summary

Elior's Cura-Hospitality brand is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team at John J. Kane communities in Pittsburgh.

You will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to support quality of life aligned with residents' goals. You will educate staff and collaborate with other departments, adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to enhance dining

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements for practice.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. What we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
