Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Leesport. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve or maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life aligned with goals.

You will educate the care team, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate across departments to support dining services and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

The Role At a Glance
