We are recruiting a Registered Dietitian to join our team of health care professionals. As a Registered Dietitian, your responsibilities will include clinical monitoring and education of TPN and enteral nutrition for patients in the home setting. This role also requires patient support and education during development and ongoing assessment of a nutritional care plan. The dietitian is required to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians.
Job type : Full-time, remote.
Hours of operation : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5pm
Pay range : $73,790.46 - $92,247.35 annually, depending on experience

Position Responsibilities
1. Complete nutrition screening by reviewing, updating, and modifying necessary forms.
2. Perform nutrition assessment and clinical follow-up as needed.
3. Review, update, and modify definitions of nutritional risk and complete re-assessments, as needed.
4. Collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of age appropriate (pediatric / adult / geriatric) nutrition assessments and plans of care.
5. Develop disease specific nutrition assessments, nutrition support care plans, and patient education materials by utilizing clinical standards determined by, but not limited to, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, and National Council on Aging, Inc.
6. Monitor and evaluate lab work, patient condition / tolerance, and nutritional needs to determine if therapy adjustments are indicated.
7. Maintain orders and patient charts compliant with guidelines set forth by Medicare, Medicaid, other payer groups, accreditation standards, and regulatory agencies.
8. Provide accurate and timely documentation of nutritional care by utilizing the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition process.
9. Support reimbursement by assisting with Medicare qualifications for TPN and enteral patients.
10. Collaborate with staff to ensure appropriate documentation has been completed for reimbursement purposes.
11. Obtain updated insurance information from patients and relay information to the benefits team.
12. Assist with communication to patients regarding insurance changes as needed.
13. Establish and maintain positive clinical rapport with patients and their families, working closely with -them in the provision of enteral therapy, education related to self-care and self-administration and clinical monitoring of the response to therapy.
14. Provide training related to enteral nutrition and TPN to internal staff and referral sources as requested.
15. Provide clinical sales support by conducting in-services and educational programs with external customers : staff, referral sources, payors, etc., as requested.
16. Participates in professional organizations such as ASPEN, Oley Foundation etc.
17. Adheres to all Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct outlined by Emerging Health.
18. Participates in mandatory annual in-services.
19. Reports to the appropriate manager(s) any known or suspected violations of policies and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
20. Other duties as assigned.
Required skills :
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition or dietetics
2. Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by Oregon State
3. Must have previous Home Infusion and / or Hospital TPN experience
4. Experienced with both pediatric and adult enteral / parenteral therapy.
Preferred Qualifications :
1. Certification by A.S.P.E.N. (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician - CNSC)
2. Ability to assist with prescription of TPN orders (Electrolyte Management)
