Christian Park Healthcare Center in Michigan seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD) to assess residents, plan therapeutic diets, and oversee the culinary operation to ensure meals are nutritious and appealing. You will work with clinical teams to tailor nutrition plans and monitor outcomes, while supporting food service staff and maintaining compliance with dietary orders.

Formación

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Serve Safe certification.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees purchase of food and supplies within budget and ensures adequate meal coverage.
• Provides technical guidance and administrative direction over diet planning, menu formulation, and service of regular and therapeutic diets.
• Ensures meals are nutritious and palatable while adhering to menus and diet orders.
• Interviews guests and family to obtain diet history.
• Completes dietary portion of the clinical record in a timely manner.
• Participates in department head and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the purchase of food and supplies within budget and maintains a supply to adequately cover each meal.
• Provides technical guidance and administrative direction over diet planning, menu formulation, preparation and service of regular and therapeutic diets.
• Assures meals are nutritious, palatable, and crafted in a timely and consistent manner while adhering to menus and diet orders.
• Interviews guests and family members, as necessary, to obtain diet history.
• Provides timely and accurate completion of dietary portion of the clinical record.
• Participates in regularly scheduled conferences, including department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Serve Safe certification
• One (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
