Job summary

Aramark seeks a Registered Dietitian I in Dallas to help develop nutritionally sound, cost-efficient food service programs for student needs while complying with local nutrition guidelines. The role involves collaborating with Food & Beverage Development and management teams to implement healthy menus.

You will plan menus, perform nutrient analyses, educate clients and consumers, and support staff training to maintain quality food services in school cafeterias.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics required or eligible to practice dietetics in the geographic location
• RDN certification or eligibility required and ongoing continuing education
• Ability to pursue and maintain certifications, registrations, and licenses as required by local agencies
• Demonstrated ability to communicate healthful food choices to diverse audiences
• Strong customer service attitude and teamwork skills

The Registered Dietitian I helps to provide a nutritionally sound and cost-efficient food services program that will meet the needs of students while maintaining compliance with all localguidelines as they relate to nutrition regulations.Utilizes technical training and government-mandated nutritional standards on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. May work closely with Food & Beverage Development and management teams.

Qualifications

Previous relevant working experience preferred

Requires a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution with course work accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies

Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies

Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in geographic location where applicable

Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers

Ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic and inspire others
