Job description

As a Registered Dietitian (RD) at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County, this role focuses on delivering personalized nutrition therapy, patient education, and collaborative care within a faith‑based hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling to patients.
• Implement nutritional care plans, maintain documentation, and establish a follow‑up system.
• Write changes for diet orders, assess patients for nutritional deficiencies, evaluate fluids and electrolytes, and review laboratory and clinical progress notes.
• Inform physicians of patient nutritional status and need for diet changes.
• Create and revise education materials, participate in program development, and develop, implement, and market services.
• Support the dietetic internship program as a supervised practice rotation preceptor and class instructor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Dietitian (LD) and active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in Clinical Nutrition or successful completion of a CCF Dietetic Internship Program.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to navigate extensively to provide services to a large number of patients and perform computer entry.
• Physical ability to measure and weigh patients.
• Manual dexterity sufficient for computer entry.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range: Minimum Annual Salary: $47,530.00 – Maximum Annual Salary: $72,475.00. Compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Benefits include healthcare, dental and vision, retirement savings, and more.

Schedule: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, weekdays; rotate weekends/holidays.
