Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian in West Virginia to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position requires active RD licensure, strong organizational and communication skills, and may include multi-site coverage. A driver’s license may be needed for travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with current licensure and in good standing.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Driver's license may be required for multi-site RD roles.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licenses accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical data.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and develop and document the plan within the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. **
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations
