Cura-Hospitality, part of Elior North America, seeks an experienced registered dietitian to join its healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh.

You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and collaborate with care teams to support residents' quality of life, complying with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards. This is a full-time onsite role with suite of benefits and growth opportunities within Elior's network.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.

The Role At a Glance

We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. As a registered dietitian, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.
