Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide personalized nutrition assessments and education within our wellness clubs. You will educate both members and staff, tailor programs to individual goals, and stay current with industry trends.

You will collaborate with fitness and club teams to design nutrition plans, lead seminars, and drive growth in nutrition services while delivering high-quality member experiences.

Qualifications

• Complete Accredited Dietetic Internship as part of eligibility.
• RD exam or RD credential within 6 months of hire.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs individual personalized nutrition and wellness assessments.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive nutritional programs to ensure clients are satisfied and motivated.
• Leads and facilitates health and wellness educational seminars.
• Works with Personal Training staff and club management on member programs, education on nutritional products, services, and lab testing.
• Educates members on health and wellness issues and trends.
• Interprets lab results and provides lifestyle recommendations.
• Markets and implements nutrition education programs and products tailored to members.
• Meets monthly revenue and session goals and drives nutrition/weight management business in the club.
• Follows safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Job description

Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing various group and individual nutritional services that offer members a program to optimize metabolism and weight, improve fitness performance, and achieve an overall sense of vitality. They will assist with the education of all Team Members on Life Time’s nutrition philosophy. A Registered Dietician will ensure all members receive correct nutrition information and all team members understand their scope of practice as health professionals. The Registered Dieticians will stay up to date on industry trends and knowledge.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs individual personalized nutrition and wellness assessments
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive nutritional programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
• Leads and facilitates health and wellness educational seminars
• Works closely with Personal Training staff and club management when designing member programs and classes as well as education on nutritional products, services, and lab testing
• Educates members on health and wellness issues and trends
• Interprets member’s lab testing results and provides appropriate lifestyle recommendations
• Markets, promotes, and implements individual and group Life Time nutritional education programs and products that will complement each member’s personal needs and goals
• Meets monthly revenue and session goals and takes ownership of nutrition and weight management business in the club
• Uses all required safety devices and personal protection equipment to comply with company safety rules

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Accredited Dietetic Internship
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian or must pass RD exam within 6 months of hire
• CPR and AED Certified
• Dietetics state licensure if available
• Knowledge of dietetics and how to adapt knowledge to practical use in conjunction with exercise programs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
