Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nutrition Care Manager (Dietetic Technician) to join our Nutrition Team at a senior living community in Holtsville, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide nutritional screening, monitoring, and implementation of the nutrition care plan for residents under the guidance of the Registered Dietitian.
2. Advise the dining department on resident care and meal service matters; conduct meal rounds per company protocols.
3. Assist in menu planning considering nutrition, regulatory compliance, resident preferences, and wellness trends.
4. Supervise and train the dining service team.
5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation bodies, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA, and resident rights.
6. Participate in or lead resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Associate or bachelor's degree in nutrition & dietetics or related field.
2. Credentialed as a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR).
3. One year of senior living experience preferred.
4. Supervisory experience desirable.
5. ServSafe certification desirable.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
