Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr

About the role

Centers Dialysis Care is seeking Registered Dialysis Nurses (RN) for our dialysis centers in Brooklyn NY. We operate high-level dialysis facilities in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Rockland County. We are looking for experienced dialysis nurses and also train nurses interested in dialysis care. We value professional dedication and a warm work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Assess patient status and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
2. Coordinate patient care and provide education.
3. Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
4. Monitor patient responses during treatment and document accordingly.
5. Mobilize resources for complex cases to enhance patient participation in recovery.
6. Use assessment and diagnostic information to anticipate healthcare needs.
7. Ensure effective handoff communication and report on potential issues.
8. Adjust staffing and develop plans to optimize unit operations.
9. Provide individualized comfort measures using evidence-based practices.
10. Participate in performance improvement activities.
11. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

1. Active NY RN License
2. CPR Certification
3. Experience in dialysis setting preferred
