Responsibilities

• Promote dental health through prophylaxis, screenings, radiographs, and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare patients for treatment, including welcoming and seating.
• Provide information and answer patient questions.
• Maintain and sterilize instruments.
• Select materials based on patient needs.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and detect diseases via screenings and radiographs.
• Apply fluoride and other agents to prevent decay.

Requirements

• Active dental hygiene license in PA.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
