The Dental Hygienist will help patients develop and maintain good oral health and clean teeth. The Hygienist will examine patients for signs of oral disease and other preventive dental care, working closely with staff dentists and dental assistants. The Hygienist will also provide oral health education and guidance to patients on maintaining good oral health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and unrestricted CA Dental Hygienist license.
• Associates degree from an accredited Dental Hygienist program by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
• Board Certification completion is preferred.
• Must hold a current CPR certification.
• Commitment to quality patient care, excellent customer service, and patient education on dental health.
• Effective communication skills with diverse populations.
• Experience in IHS, Tribal/Urban clinics, or VA is a plus.
• Experience with Dentrix and EDR is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check.
• Proof of completed COVID vaccinations and booster required.
