Job summary

WALID J DEHNI DMD PC is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Boston team. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate is licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist with 1–2 years of experience and a friendly, patient-focused approach. Responsibilities include patient welcome, care plan discussion, sterilization prep, exams, plaque removal, fluoride, x-rays, and digital scans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene and current licensure.
• 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure comfort.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for dentist examinations and procedures.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take x-rays and CT-Scans.
