Job summary

GPS Dental in Spokane, WA is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Hygiene team. The ideal candidate is licensed, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Schedule: Thursdays and Fridays 6:30am–7pm, Saturdays 7:30am–3pm (no lunch). You will perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, radiographs, charting, and patient education, while maintaining documentation and infection control.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
