Responsibilities include chairside assisting, documentation review, and maintaining infection control. A valid RDH license and experience with EHR and pediatric dentistry are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist per state regulations.
• Experience in dental healthcare with assisting procedures.
• Familiarity with EHR platforms for patient records.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices.
• Infection prevention and aseptic technique knowledge.
• Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely.
• Strong communication to educate patients about care.
• Knowledge of medical coding for dental documentation.
• Commitment to HIPAA confidentiality and team support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and exams for all ages, including pediatrics.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay updated on general and pediatric dentistry practices.
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures for smooth workflow.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information.
• Support administrative tasks like documentation review and scheduling.
