Registered Dental Hygienist needed in Oscoda, MI!

We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. If you’re passionate about patient care, work well with others, and love making a difference in people’s oral health, we’d love to meet you!

Schedule: Full Time or Part Time

Requirements

• Active Michigan Dental Hygiene License
• CPR Certification
• Hepatitis B Vaccination
• Proficient in using Ultrasonic Scalers and hand instruments
• Ability to take and mount diagnostic X-rays (bitewings, PAs, full mouth series)
• Skilled in periodontal charting and maintenance
• Comfortable performing prophylaxis and fluoride treatments
• Familiar with infection control and sterilization protocols
• Gentle, patient-focused, and team-oriented
• Legible handwriting and accurate record-keeping
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings, fluoride applications, and periodontal maintenance
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during exams and document findings
• Write clear, accurate progress notes in patient charts
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in operatories between patients
• Process and sterilize instruments following proper protocols
• Schedule appointments and assist with recall outreach when needed
