Job summary

Vandenbergdental in Voorhees Township, New Jersey is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team. Applicants must hold an RDH license and current CPR certification, and demonstrate meticulous oral health care for patients.

As an RDH, you will educate patients on tooth care and diet, remove plaque and calculus, take impressions and radiographs, and apply preventive materials to reduce tooth decay while ensuring patient safety with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Demonstrated meticulous oral health care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental health education on tooth care and diet.
• Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing.
• Take impressions and dental radiographs as needed.
• Apply prophylactic/antibacterial materials and fissure sealants; monitor decay prevention.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety for patients and team.

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) duties include:

Providing dental health education about tooth care and dietRemoving plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teethTaking impressions and/or dental radiographs of teethApplying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decayCarrying out screening and monitoring procedures
