Job summary

A-Team Dental Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist for an assisted-hygiene role in a busy Santa Rosa practice that serves a large Denti-Cal patient population.

The hygienist will receive assistance with room turnover, X-rays, sterilization, and other duties to support an efficient patient schedule. Hours are 9 AM–6 PM, Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri; part-time with a bonus structure and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a high-volume dental practice preferred.
• Experience serving Denti-Cal patients preferred.
• Confidence performing scaling and root planing and managing periodontal patients.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care.
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments.
• Review patient health histories and complete periodontal charting.
• Assess patients’ oral health and communicate findings to the dentist.
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and recommended treatment.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
• Work efficiently within an assisted-hygiene schedule.
• Collaborate with the dentist, dental assistants, and front-office team.
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and state requirements.

Registered Dental Hygienist – Assisted Hygiene

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Compensation: Up to $72 per hour, depending on experience, plus a bonus structure

A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a busy, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist. This is an assisted-hygiene position in a high-volume office serving a large Denti-Cal patient population.

The ideal candidate is efficient, compassionate, and comfortable maintaining excellent clinical standards in a fast-paced environment. The hygienist will receive assistance with room turnover, X-rays, sterilization, and other permitted duties to support an efficient patient schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments
• Review patient health histories and complete periodontal charting
• Assess patients’ oral health and communicate clinical findings to the dentist
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and recommended treatment
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license

• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong communication, time-management, and clinical documentation skills
• Comfortable working within an assisted-hygiene model

Schedule

Hours: Mon–Wednesday-Thursday-Friday , 9 AM–6 PM (Can be part time if needed)
