Responsibilities

• Perform cleanings of teeth and gums
• Take necessary x-rays and intra-oral pictures
• Complete periodontal charting
• Address patient\'s hygiene and restorative needs
• Educate patient on what doctor will likely recommend in the form of treatment
• Document findings in the Practice Management software
• Clean/sterilize treatment room after each appointment
• Reappoint patients emphasizing value and urgency for the next appointment and update the Practice Management Software
• Provide an effective 2 and 1 Handoff to doctor and appropriate admin team
• Prepare, attend, and contribute to Straine Management System (SMS) Meetings
• Achieve individual daily hygiene production goal
• Maintains proper knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliances and clinical skills
• As open times occur, make calls to patients due and not scheduled in hygiene
• Performs other related duties as assigned
