Dental Hygienist - Brooklyn, NY (Single Column Schedule)

At our Greenpoint practice, you will have the time, autonomy, technology, and team support needed to provide thoughtful care and build meaningful relationships with your patients.

We understand that dental professionals can have concerns about joining a larger dental organization, including rushed appointments, double-booking, and pressure to prioritize production over care. Our Greenpoint practice is designed to feel different.

This is not a high-volume, double-booked hygiene environment. Our hygienists work from a single-column schedule, providing adequate time to listen, educate, deliver thorough care, and help each patient feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.

• Competitive starting pay of $55-$60 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and periodontal care with a focus on patient comfort, education, and clinical quality
• Take the time to understand each patient’s needs and concerns
• Help patients understand their oral health and feel confident in their treatment
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to provide coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Contribute to a respectful, positive, and patient-focused practice environment
• Utilize Dentrix, Overjet AI for accurate, cloud-based charting and clinical records
• Perform thorough preventive and periodontal therapies, including scaling and root planing (SRP) and prophylaxis
