Job summary

Our Best Life Companies is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist for a high producing dental office with a great culture in Monterey Park, CA. Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities and a supportive team environment.

You will perform cleanings, radiographs, patient education, and assist with preventative care while upholding infection control standards. We value bilingual skills and a commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires degree/certificate in dental hygiene and valid state license.
• Active CPR certificate required.
• At least 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, root planing and polishing.
• Assess patient medical histories and oral health status.
• Take and develop dental radiographs per safety guidelines.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting; ensure infection control and sterilization standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and evaluating oral health conditions
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety guidelines
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards
• Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• At least one (1) year experience.
