Role Overview: A Dental Hygienist collaborates with dentists to meet patients' oral health needs, performing assessments, routine treatments, patient education, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess dental conditions and needs through patient screening
• Provide direct patient care including cleaning, polishing, and applying sealants and fluorides
• Take radiographs and vital signs
• Maintain electronic records and document patient histories
• Educate patients on oral health and disease prevention
• Sterilize instruments and assist with treatment planning and explanations
• Coordinate treatments and communicate effectively with the dental team

Requirements:

• Reliable, full-time availability
• Completion of dental hygiene program or Associate's degree with current Virginia Hygienist license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong judgment, initiative, dependability, and confidentiality
• Ability to interpret instructions and documents
