The Position: Responsible for providing dental treatment in facilities, collaborating with DDS, clinical coordinators, and staff. Includes on-site hygiene services and ensuring patient and facility needs are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Review patient lists and ensure supplies are available.
  2. Arrive on time, check in, and review patient schedule.
  3. Transport and set up equipment.
  4. Coordinate patient and chart transfer with nursing home staff.
  5. Perform care including X-rays, cleaning, sealants, and oral health assessments.
  6. Explain procedures to patients and review recommendations with staff.
  7. Document treatment in Salesforce immediately.
  8. Follow OSHA safety and cleanliness regulations.
  9. Handle disposables correctly and leave documentation with facilities.
  10. Coordinate with clinical support on schedule and follow-up.
  11. Maintain and inventory dental equipment and supplies.
  12. Follow sterilization and safety standards.
  13. Use personal vehicle for transport and travel to facilities.
  14. Be reachable via cell phone during work hours.
  15. Manage expenses for supplies and business-related costs.

Location: Covers home market with up to 3-hour radius driving. Overnight lodging and meals provided for locations over 2.5 hours. Reimburse mileage and paid travel time.

Requirements:

  1. Current RDH license in good standing with 5 years’ experience; willing to obtain additional state licenses.
  2. Valid driver’s license with no recent violations.
  3. Willing to travel within a 3-hour radius.
  4. Reliable transportation.
  5. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 200 lbs and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  6. High School Diploma or equivalent.

  3. Organizational skills for supplies and scheduling.
  4. Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

Physical Efforts & Working Conditions:

  1. Lift, transport, and set up equipment up to 50 lbs.
  2. Push/pull up to 200 lbs, including patients in wheelchairs.
  3. Travel within 2.5 hours or stay overnight if needed.

Salary: $42-$50/hour + up to $50/day productivity, mileage reimbursement.
