Kinderknecht Family Dentistry is seeking a registered dental hygienist to join a small, but busy private practice. The ideal candidate communicates well, works with all ages, and is a team player. Pay is negotiable and a strong benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Experience with patient education and preventative dental care preferred.
• Ability to perform dental X-rays accurately and safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean and protect patients' teeth across all ages.
• Perform dental X-rays accurately while maintaining safety standards.
• Provide prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance as prescribed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Document and chart findings clearly for the doctor.

Kinderknecht Family Dentistry is a small, but a very busy privately owned office that is looking to hire a registered hygienist that works well with all ages, has great communication skills, and has a team player mentality!

Whether you are fresh out of school, or have been in the dentistry field, we welcome you and your expertise to apply to join our practice! Pay is negotiable, and we offer many great benefits.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, and the first and third Fridays of each month until noon to help provide outstanding care for the families in our community and surrounding areas.

About the job:

• Clean and protect patient teeth of all ages, while helping to ensure a positive experience for the patient.
• Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.
• Routine and Comprehensive assessment, prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, patient assessments, and periodontal charting
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventative treatments and good oral home care techniques.
• Accurate documentation and charting, identifying and communicating concerns to the doctor.
• Maintain environment utilizing infection control protocols and sterilize of equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
