Please note, this role is not a remote position and requires the candidate to be present at our dental office to carry out their duties effectively. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial dental assessments and diagnose patients' oral health condition.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications.
  • Take dental X‑rays as required and interpret them for treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate patient records adhering to the clinic and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with dentists to plan treatments and care for periodontal diseases.
  • Manage time effectively to schedule and treat patients in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the sterility and proper maintenance of equipment and tools used in treatments.
  • Update patient history and document dental treatment for future reference and legal requirements.
  • Administer local anesthesia for dental procedures as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to stay updated with the latest in dental hygiene and dentistry.
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid dental hygiene license in the state of Arizona.
  • Certification in local anesthesia permitted in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dental practice preferred.
  • Proficiency in using dental record software and managing patient records digitally.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously with tools and small objects.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong educational foundation in dental hygiene practices, patient care, and treatment planning.
  • A passion for dental health and the well‑being of patients.
