Layton Lakes Dental in Chandler, AZ is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our woman-owned, patient-focused team. You will provide comprehensive hygiene care, educate patients on oral health, and help build long-term relationships in a welcoming, low-stress environment.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Dental Hygienist license.
• Local anesthesia license.
• Current CPR certification and hepatitis B immunization.
• 1+ years of hands-on Hygienist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Dentrix software.
• Experience with laser-assisted hygiene procedures or willingness to learn.
• Experience with digital scanning / intraoral scanning or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review medical and dental history and update health history for returning patients.
• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.
• Perform clinical procedures including digital x-rays, screenings, prophylaxis, scaling, laser procedures, sealants and fluoride.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and oral-systemic health connections.
• Collaborate with dentist and team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Maintain a welcoming, calming atmosphere for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and review medical and dental history and/or records from patient, review care slips and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients.
• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.
• Perform clinical procedures, including digital x-rays, oral cancer screenings, wellness scans, oral prophylaxis, gingival scaling, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, hygiene laser procedures, sealants and fluoride.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods.
• Educate patients on oral-systemic health connection, prevention, and lifestyle habits.
• Collaborate closely with dentist and team members to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Help maintain a welcoming, calming atmosphere for patients.

• Local anesthesia license
• Current CPR certification and hepatitis B immunization
• 1+ years of prior hands‑on Hygienist experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Dentrix software
• Experience with or willingness to learn laser-assisted hygiene procedures
• Experience with or willingness to learn digital scanning / intraoral scanning technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Schedule

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

$48–$51/hour, based on experience. Monthly production based bonus and incentives.
