Job summary

Family Dental Health is seeking a friendly, team‑oriented Dental Hygienist to join our Taylors, SC practice. You will perform hygiene treatments, take digital x‑rays, and provide patient education while delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• SC licensed dental hygienist.
• Proficient in hygiene treatments and digital x‑rays.
• Strong patient education and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, compassionate patient care.
• Deliver prophylaxis and scaling to patients.
• Take and interpret digital x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Apply sealants and fluoride as needed.
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene.

Functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient
• Deliver direct care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis
• Take digital x-rays
• Intraoral photos on every patient
• Apply sealants and fluoride
• Patient education
• Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
• Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care
• Participate in community events and functions to educate others and promote a positive image of Family Dental Health
• Periodontal experience is a plus!

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina
• Proficient in performing all hygiene treatments, patient education, and taking digital x-rays

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 11:30am - 7:00pm
• Tuesday: 11:30am - 7:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• Thursday: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• Friday (1st and 3rd of the month) 7:00am - 2:00pm
